Jets' Breece Hall reveals chat he had with Aaron Glenn about trade rumors

Trade rumors surrounding New York Jets running back Breece Hall might still swirl throughout the offseason in headlines but as far the team's locker room is concerned, everything might be quelled now.

Earlier this offseason, general manager Darren Mougey downplayed those.

Hall himself has revealed that head coach Aaron Glenn made sure to do the same with more of a personal touch.

During minicamp, Hall spoke about those trade rumors and mentioned that his new head coach went out of his way to call him and let him know that they simply are not true.

"I was seeing it just like everybody else was seeing it," Hall said. "AG called me and told me he wanted me to be here. For me, that meant a lot."

Hall had a career-low 876 rushing yards and 4.2 yards per carry in 2024. Hall also said that his below-average play might have been aided by injuries he played through as well.

Regardless, both player and team will hope for a bounce-back year from Hall in 2025.
