At this stage of the offseason, there are plenty of seasoned veterans looking to play in 2026, while sidestepping OTAs and other offseason activities. This is no different for perennial All-Pro Von Miller, who’s still looking for a home heading into his 15th season, but which team could bring him in?

Analyst Predicts Rams as a Destination for 8-Time Pro Bowler Von Miller

In a best landing spots article for Bleacher Report, analyst Kristopher Knox stated that he believes Miller could land with his former team, the Los Angeles Rams, with whom he won Super Bowl LVI.

“Miller played just 37 percent of the defensive snaps in 2025 but managed to log nine sacks, six tackles for loss, and 19 quarterback pressures,” Knox wrote. “He’d be a great addition to a defense that is ready to chase the Super Bowl right now.”

Though Miller’s 2025 squad, the Washington Commanders, had a disappointing 2025, especially defensively, Miller was one of the only consistent pressure-producers on the team.

During his time in Washington, Miller had a 73.6 impact score according to PFN’s EDGE Impact Metric, placing him second on the team behind Jacob Martin, who had 3.5 fewer sacks, but posted a 74.4 impact score.

Knox went on to say, “According to Miller, he’s hoping he can find that perfect fit by returning to the Denver Broncos… However, a return to the Los Angeles Rams would make even more sense.”

“Denver has a deep pass-rushing rotation that recorded 68 sacks in 2025,” he added. “While the Rams traded for Myles Garrett earlier this offseason, they traded away Jared Verse as part of the deal. Adding Miller to the rotation behind Garrett and Byron Young would be very sensible for L.A.”

Knox’s logic makes sense. While the Rams do have a stacked defensive front led by Myles Garrett and company, their depth isn’t as strong as it could be.

Bringing in Miller, who thrived in a rotational role for the Commanders last season, could be a low-risk, high-reward move for the Rams.

It’s also easy to see why Denver is Miller’s preferred landing spot. Coming home to the team that drafted him second overall in 2011 would be a storybook ending, but if he’s looking to raise his third Lombardi Trophy, the Rams should be the top destination.

In 2025, the Rams finished just short of a Super Bowl appearance, falling 31-27 to the eventual champion Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

It seems General Manager Les Snead took it personally, making big moves in the offseason, such as trading for Garrett and Trent McDuffie, putting the team in a prime position for contention in 2026.

Signing Miller could be the cherry on top.
