Sutton sign defender Byron from Worthing

National League side Sutton United have signed defender Toby Byron from Worthing on a permanent basis.

The 25-year-old joins after making 29 appearances in the National League South for the Rebels this season.

Byron returns to Sutton following a brief stint in the club's academy, going on to appear twice for the first-team in the Surrey Senior Cup, and he has also had spells playing in Greece and France.

"It feels great. It's been a few years ago since I was here, but I'm back, older, and I'm ready to get going," Byron told the club website.
