A successful NFL Draft for the Mizzou Football program continues. Last night, there were four Missouri players selected in the Top 100 for just the second time in program history.

On Saturday, Kevin Coleman Jr. was the fifth Missouri Tiger selected. Coleman is headed to the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round with the 177th overall pick.

Coleman, a St. Louis native, spent just one season at Mizzou but in his final year of his college career he made an impact with the Tigers. Playing in all 13 games, Coleman led the team with 66 receptions for 732 receiving yards. He had one touchdown reception all season — coming in the 42-31 Border War win over kansas in Week 2 of the season.

In his final regular season game with Mizzou, Coleman had a punt return for a touchdown in a 31-17 win over Arkansas — which earned him an SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honor.

Coleman will join former Mizzou Tiger Theo Wease Jr. on the Dolphins roster. For more NFL Draft coverage, visit RockM+.
